WAHAHAHA everyone!! go watch butterfly lovers... You would experience the true powers of corniness and retardedness combined lol. Today me, sam, k^3, sihua and xiaohui went to celebrate Si Hoon's birthday... Damn funny lol glad i chose to tag along haha.
As usual k^3 was being his super lame self and xiao hui was just plain weird lah.
We went to watch butterfly lover.. I thought it was a period action flick but it was like a spoof of how bad singers act in a budget film. I think the director is also to blame, there was a scene in the movie which just cracked me up lol. The lead actress wanted to protect the lead actor so she broke his heart... That scene was HILARIOUS. She took off the hair pin which the hero gave her and stabbed him to show she was 'serious'. The funny thing is that he already had 2 arrows piercing through him and that the hairpin looked like it was scotch taped to his body la. The length didnt even change lol. Previous to that he was running about town with 2 arrows protruding from his back, full length as well, and flinging about in the wind hahaha... I rate the movie a D-, F for the acting, A++++ for providing the sheer joy of being able to laugh and make fun of every scene XD

I'm wearing a singlet, I'm born in July, I'm not fond of orthodox food, I don't wear socks at home (except for times when I'm lazy to change), I'm wearing checkered boxers (dark blue, red and white if you must know),
I seriously don't watch tv (although I have a flat screen in my room), I'm actually very agitated cos theres nothing to do ( but there was only bored, so hell with it), My room walls are mauve (I dont want to call it purple), The first letter of my first name is W, Last letter of my last name G, I like milk (cos of its ability to make things easier on the throat), and I want to go to Japan (and all the other choices are places that I have been to or have zero wish to).

Went to watch Max Payne and Eagle eye with chun just now, consecutively. Tiring on the eyes but (no pun intended) eagle eye was a treat. Acting and story pretty good. Max Payne was soso... I thought there were demons and devils where the hero will bust the shit out of, but the trailer was a super misleader. The 'death angels' or so we thought were just boring old hallucinations... lame sia =.=. Dont waste your money.

Yawn... got nothing to do. Stupid sia, ask us hand in I&R on monday... that is physically but mentally not possible. I rather throw my 5 marks out of the window.

Yay French get A haha.. I just figured that getting 2 S's is still better than getting an A and a U. Crazy life haha I came home at 9.30. Then I had to go through PW and also do fingering for the SYF piece in preparation of tomorrow's sectionals.
I found this damn fun mv on youtube lol called 摇滚万岁 by J-Star. I have no idea why they called themselves that, but the group is made up of groups like 183 club, 5566, 7 朵花, K one and Typhoon. It's a collaboration album. The fun thing about this mv is that it copies McFly's 5 colours in her hair mv which has exactly the same start settings. I got kinda pissed when I read the comments for the video though... They were dissing J-Star cos it was 'copying'. But seriously. The song is 摇滚万岁 which is 'long live rock and roll'. The mv WAS meant to be in that setting... a homage of sorts. Haven't they heard? Imitation is the highest form of flattery lol. Do you really think the directors had that intention in mind. Its not like they filmed it to pass it off as their own...No originality? Pui ah. The idea of remaking an old mv IS original.
But really got me pissed was that they were dissing individual bands for their lack of talent and copying. Come on. That song was never meant to be used for showcasing talent. It's like singing ba ba black sheep lol. I see people criticizing 5566 and 183 club, but why don't I see anyone criticizing 七朵花? That girl band is obviously the worst group out of all of them... in such a simple song also can sound so zao xia. Criticizing for the sake of it. What losers.

haha I was going around taking pictures of playgrounds (as usual) then i found this furry friend sleeping on the ground. So lucky to take this kind of sharp picture.. usually animals move to much to get a good shot. So if u look at my phone pictures you will see playgrounds playgrounds and playgrounds then a sleeping cat, then playgrounds again haha.
I was roaming pasir ris looking for a playground which i unfortunately did not find. I walked from meridian to siglap sec. Then i walked somemore and got lost in the HDB estate :p. Stupid KI paper made me wait for 4 hours.
I was so upset la.. S for KI... Think i should drop it next year lor... Aiya... I needed somebody to console and listen to me bitch...Nick was working, Chun was ignoring me. and Gen would probably fall asleep. In the end only she was there to chat with me. I guess some things never change huh. Maybe I should find more sms chat partners. I talked for a while, then when to cook my pepper steak flambe (which failed for the second time) and then took a nap. Woke up at 7pm.

HELLO!! I'm feeling tipsy... XO is seriously amazing, even after so much dilution the impact is still there... WHO HAS BEEN DRINKING MY XO! Damn the bottle contents reduced by 1/8th. Lol i took so long finding that number 8. hmm the last time i got drunk was last year at my cousins 21th birthday party. I drank too many cans of beer and ended with a glass of whisky. I got really pissed at everything and started to sing loudly to take my mind off.
But this time I'm not drunk yet... actually far from it. Some people are naturally hard drinkers who seldom get drunk. But I'm more like a honed drinker lol. Growing up among bottles of red, white and rose wine really helps my alcohol immuno system haha. But I only started actively drinking in Singapore, and I've only gotten drunk once. Most of the time I become a quiet person who starts to do mundane things to keep my sanity. This time I'm blogging. The last time I was playing Lumines blocks haha. My uncle keeps making me drink, i ended up flushing down 3/4 of a bottle of white wine on my birthday. I wasn't drunk but I was completely wasted. No energy to talk or think. But can still walk in a straight line.
Damn I'm starting to fade away.. haha it took me 2 minutes to write that. Hopefully i don't get a hangover tomorrow (or today for the nitpicky ones). Night folks

It's saturday and I'm feeling guilty!! cos im supposed to be doing pw... but im not!! haha. And BIG THANKS to Davin for helping me do my floorplan. I wanted to pay him for his efforts but he refused XD. However i hope he will stop putting Weasly PW-Model on all the files he send. Weasly lol. damn funny.

And Simyee i dont feel like giving u those roses. Bringing them to school is a physical and mental hassle XD But i think i can make a special effort depending on the day :D But you can have this first:

I made friends with this really cute girl last night. Those who know who I'm talking bout please shaddup. But seriously she was so excited from sitting in the front row on the upper deck of the bus haha.. reminded me of myself a couple years back XD. We chatted all the way until I reached my stop. Thinking back, I should have sent her back first. I feel like I lost my gentleman instincts in JC lol. most probably because JC girls appear to be so strong... mentally i mean. big muscular women make me shiver.

Aiyo what a goddamn waste of my time sia. I read choa chu kang MEGA playground had an adventure playground so i went there to take some photos. But this is what i found instead:

What a horrible disappointment. Then I thought: this isn't right, although we are going by 1993 standards, this isn't MEGA enough. So i went to the childcare centre nearby and asked about the Lam Soon CC that should be next to the MEGA playground. To my joy, I found out this pathetic playground isn't the one i was looking for.
What came next nearly made me kneel down and cry. This:

Wah lan eh. The adventure playground tio demolish sia. Due to complaints of flooding. Wtf sia flooding at a playground? Come on it isn't raining everyday what, just tahan a couple of months during monsoon season can right? This is our heritage you complaining pieces of dog excrements. Tampines had one of those older playgrounds with sand flooring and concrete structures. Although got ppl playing, but nvm lor, it adds vibrancy to the photo.

Lol sorry for not posting... I'm so out of the world these days... For some reason I've decided to become a loner in class, it's too difficult to maintain so many social groups at a go... So if I dao anyone, please don't feel offended, it's not because I don't like you, I just don't feel like socializing with you. But my fellow gemsters relax, I will never ignore you, as a matter of fact, I may even get pissed off with you.
Another thing, if you anything to say to me, just say it even if I don't seem to pay attention, I'm a good listener just too lazy to respond, not because I don't give a damn, it's just that my schedule is really packed (and don't compare me with you please..I end earliest at 5 and end latest at 10. The rest of the days I end at 830 and 6).
I don't know what happened but I slept at 6+ yesterday.. I guess i was cos i slept at 4 and woke up at 6 that day. But the funny thing is that I haven't even showered and changed yet. I woke up at 3 in my uniform went to eat something, showered and slept.
And by the way. ALL PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T GET ME A BIRTHDAY PRESENT ALERT! I AM IN URGENT NEED OF A PAIR OF HEADPHONES!! PREFERABLY THE HEADBAND KIND. ANY OTHER COLOUR WOULD BE FINE AS LONG AS IT ISN'T PINK YELLOW GREEN RED OR GREEN(hinting furiously). I would seriously buy them myself, but I prefer to give the chance to those who want to improve (or preserve) relations with me. Arigato.

My life has begun to revert itself back to how it was. A life without much to smile about, a life of apathy. Why can't I relax like I used to? Why do I feel so tired, so tired of this constant haste which is getting me nowhere? The lack of joy is slowly draining away the blood to my heart. I feel so empty.
Thank god I still have Chuan Chun in my life. A best friend, a brother, a person who i trust with my life. Never again might I find someone who understands and stands by me like he does. Somehow I've not found any potential close friends in JC yet, everything feels so superficial. Everyone is so matured and polite it's sickening. Don't worry though you guys are still my friends. But we may be nothing more than that.

Life is getting more and more interesting... Somehow I have become an expert secret agent, able to blend in with the environment... Seriously lar I'm like right here next to you. Lol I've been acting like a felyne since 2 days ago... Its so fun adding 'nya' to every sentence lol. I was drawing felyne weapons on Jim's econs notes ~nya Haha enough of that. I'm like so glad I didn't take chem... So many tutorials so much to study... I'm supposed to do my plan for my french project.. Mr Quenot damn slack lor. He never give us any instructions or tell us anything. He assumes that we will KNOW by magic that we were supposed to do it and consult with him..what the hell sia.
I was reading 'To Kill A Mocking Bird' just now. I read it about 8 years ago lol, but i couldn't make heads or tails bout it. It's quite a good read actually... Racism, prejudice
and hypocrisy. If I didn't have GPP to do I would have taken my time and finished it.
Got a KI presentation to prepare for tomorrow. Found out that I have to print notes for my KI comrades as well. I'd seriously prefer that they take their own bloody notes... At least I'm kept busy.

Hey Hey I'm back lol I've got this awesome headache. My first headache after eating so much XD Ram and I went to New York for dinner before the concert. We ordered this:

It was a burger that could feed 4 hungry bastards. The manager told us that if we could finish it solo, we would get the meal free. Oh he added 'and the fries'. I thought lol big deal. The fries made all the difference. After 2 slices of the burger, I was half dead liao. I think I can't even finish the whole burger lol. But we did it!!

(never have I had this feeling of satisfaction after finishing a meal. It's like finishing 2.4)
Then we took a cab to NUS UCC. University Cultural Centre. Ram and I were praying hard the taxi driver knew where it was lol. But the concert was nice, quite entertaining XD. JOB WELL DONE LITYING!!!

This feeling of despair. As I look over my timetable, I slowly scheme... How the HELL am I supposed to survive this week?
I've got sooo much work to do and I have managed to procrastinate until sunday... I'm definitely gonna be killed tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, the day after the day after tomorrow, and well, friday. Cos thursday is labour day XD.

LOL it's gold! How many people actually have a gold bag huh? Went shopping with Jim and Wong Yi after econs h2 extra lecture today... We went to Zinc to buy school bags haha. Jim and I chose the gold edition bags and Wong Yi chose the white one. He was bitching about how he didn't like the design, yada yada... Well you could have been more guai lan than us and chose the transparent gold bag couldn't you?
He asked me: On a 1 to 10 basis, how would you rank my bags design?
I said: 8
He said: then how bout yours?
I said: Different case, I bought the bag because it was guai lan haha.

Yay it's the end of thursday. I love thursday nights after coming home all shacked from French H2 I have to clear tutorials and homework i accumulated over the week. Yes. If you didn't already know, I'm a procrastinator. I procrastinate for a living. As they say, hard work pays over time, but procrastination pays now haha. Tomorrow is Colosseum finals and I didn't even know of the existence of previous matches. I was supposed to be in tug-of-war goddamit. Anyways I'll use the opportunity to slack a bit (not that I haven't been doing that this week). I still have 2 econs essays to write, which i had already managed to lie my way to an extended deadline. Oh and that goddamned bio concept map I was supposed to complete. Wait I think I have tutorial to do as well. Lol whatever haha I can definitely complete this. My body works doubly as fast in stress conditions. Actually I always work very fast, it's just that I can't start working without stress.

My heart broke yet again today... I decided to listen to a song which I had sealed months ago. The song grabbed my heart and pulled it out after I thought I had managed to become immune. I sound emo right? I am. Me being emo is limited to the internet. But it truly hurts, it's so painful.

It has been a long time since i posted. It wasn't because of time constraints but because I was doing some soul searching before I had the confidence to share my thoughts. I have a hunch that nobody would ever read this post, but I'm fine with that. Life is not measured by your peers but your own self. But for those who actually read this post, please keep it to your discretion. I don't need to be reminded on the pain I feel.
Let's tell a story then.
A long time ago, there was a boy, he lived life as he was told to, not too outstanding not too mundane. He was a boy who knew nothing of hate. Sure there were some people he disliked, but he ignored these emotions and kept to himself. How can anyone know hate when he doesn't know love?
This boy had many friends, he liked their company and all, but in front of them he had to put on a facade, a mask never letting anyone know how he truly felt. He lived multiple lives, a rowdy and random one in front of some of his peers and a silent and composed life in front of others. But all were the same, they were not real. Few if not none of his peers knew about this.
One day, this boy met a girl. It was an ordinary encounter, nothing memorable. Due to some circumstances, they met quite often. After a while, they became closer and went out together with friends on a weekly basis. They were, if I dare say, good friends.
One day, the boy's best friend asked him: Do you like her? The boy answered: she's just a good friend. But when he went home, he thought of it again and again. Did he love her? He wanted to be by her side, he wanted to hear her speak, he wanted to see her smile, but did that mean he loved her? He pondered long and hard. Maybe he did love her.
As time went by, the two of them changed from good friends to close friends. He would often text message her, his heart always smiled when he received her reply. But he still hadn't found the answer. Perhaps, all he felt for her was a sort of brotherly love. but he was satisfied. Even if he couldn't confirm his feelings, it hardly mattered. He was spending time with her, and that was the most important to him. He felt he couldn't tell her how he felt as he believed she did not deserve love from a person who can't even recognize his own feelings.
The time spent together was happy but short. Like all meetings, there has to be a parting. Both boy and girl went to different schools and they hardly ever saw each other again. The boy missed her terribly, but he knew he had to move on.
One night, the boy had a dream. The dream was so real, there were no fantasy creatures or lizards from outer space. He dreamed he was walking in a shopping mall when he met the girl. She was walking hand in hand with a guy. He never felt so crushed in his life. The girl introduced her boyfriend to him. The boy felt so sad, but his face only showed an acknowledging smile. He walked away.
When the boy woke up, he found tears on his cheeks. Then he understood. No matter how much he deceived himself, he loved her, but he understood it too late. Tears trickled from his unwilling eyes. The first person he hated, was himself. It was time to move on.

This so damn weird... Somehow I prefer having exams, at least I have a direction in life... Now what am I supposed to do? Find a job? For what I ask you... Get some spare cash? I have enough of that thank you very much... For the experience? The last time I went to work (underwater world), I found the experience of working isn't what it's all cut out to be...It's nothing special at all... And that was washing giant quarantine tanks with arapaima (size of arowana)^100, and ushering tourists at a sting ray touching pool.
Maybe it's to dwindle my time away, rather than sitting in front of a computer screen. I'm very sorry but I think I can dwindle my time away perfectly fine thank you. I rather spend my time playing pool than packing hampers for 10 hours.
I think I know what I want to do...COOK. Not as in fried rice type of cook. I want to try to cook all sorts of cuisine...French, Italian..etc. Today I made my first dish. More like Baked it.

Actually I made bout 3x that amount... Who stole the cookies the cookies from the cookie jar....
I won't say it was a total success. But I still do feel rather proud of myself.

Well folks this is probably going to be the last time I blog....until the end of the 'O' levels. Seriously I really don't want to give a f**k about these things anymore. Exams, exams, exams. When a person crosses a certain obstacle, another obstacle will pop up. That is natural because that is how people improve.
I have this ideology when it comes to obstacles. Obstacles in life are like hurdles in a track meet. One hurdle is easy to jump across. However, when many hurdles are put close together, it will be difficult to even jump across the first one. State of mind. Determination. Hard work. These are a few of the criterion needed to finish the race we call life. But when all the hurdles are place together, determination will break for the weak willed. Unfortunately, I am one of them....Perhaps all I can do is to smile it through. Hard work may not be enough.
Some of you might have noticed that this blogger has become rather emo these days. You are right. I am so tired. I want to reduce the number of hurdles in front of me. Firstly, I should break ties with some of my friends. This will let me have more time in my life, rather than thinking on how to improve our relations. But it is rather difficult to hate people....I tried to be rude but I couldn't help but apologize the next day.... I think my problem with interpersonal relations is a mental block. Hey to all the people who read this blog... It's mid autumn festival and it is never complete without a beautiful moon and mooncakes... That totally sucks cos we only had the mooncakes...
However, we had candles, lanterns, and sparklers (NOT FIREWORKS) As a matter of fact, I still have 7 boxes left... whose birthday is next...
I'm rather disappointed today, cos I was really hoping for a clear sky and full moon. I only had one out of two, merely passable... I was also disappointed for another reason I don't want to disclose... But it made me very sad...
I miss all my old friends...I wonder what are they thinking as they look upon the same moon...
We were once one, then we became many. Finally we became strangers. I have experienced that once too many in my life. I really don't want to experience that feeling again.

Ok, let's put it this way:

Well I've got back all my preliminary results and they aren't very satisfactory if I dare say. People may say it's okay, many people have worse results. Well let me ask... WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ME??? You ask me,"Why aren't you satisfied? Your marks are better than most..." 'Better than most?' Why should I care if I'm better than most? I should be better than myself! What is 'satisfactory'? Satisfactory is a word created by underachievers. One should never be satisfied. Satisfaction is only reserved for those who can no longer improve.
I'm really upset by all this... Who should I blame? If I had to blame anyone, I would blame determinism. There is no fate. There is no chance. There is only determinism. Result is the product of the accumulation of events. Events such as an overuse of yeast in my biology paper, not being adequately prepared during the paper, not eating breakfast, not being careful. These events determined the result. These events are also results of other events, eg. Bad habits, improper upbringing, being stubborn. These events also originate from more sources. In fact, it is like a family tree, it can be traced back to my ancestors. That is the essence of determinism. All actions today may affect the outcome of your descendants. There is no fate. Only determinism.
Went to play a little basketball today... I'm terrible at it though (determinism at work). Spent 90% of the time staring at the clouds though. Then I understood. The world is not made out of yourself and luck. The world is linked. Every single atom, the wind, the light, the people. Every cloud in the sky is made up of millions of water droplets. Every water droplet has it's story, in fact, every molecule of H2O has it's own story. It's story is made of how it was created, how it came about to be one of the billions of molecules in the cloud. This story is affected by the world and it's people. By me and you. Buy a fruit. Think of it's origins. Do you understand that the apple you are holding is something unique? Among millions of apples, this apple was bought by you. Everyone is special? No. EveryTHING is special.
I was teased today that I had a crush on Sherilyn along with Big Nic. This made me think a lot. I have come upon the conclusion that I don't know. When I say I thought a lot, I really mean I thought a lot. Why don't I know? That is because Love does not fit in the cold logic of determinism. After adding all the factors, I can only reach the level of friendship and concern. Therefore I conclude that love is an unknown factor. This unknown factor is also nearly inexplicable by determinism. The only explanation is due to our genes. Which is rather far-fetched.

First of all, I would like to wish a very happy birthday to Gen, and a happy belated birthday to a great friend Jason Kwa. Jason's birthday was on the 15th July, and Gen's was, well, today. I got this really cool claymore (anime) lighter for him, not that he smokes or anything....
Well let's talk about Gen's birthday ( easier to remember =P). 'Bout three weeks ago, it was my birthday (10th of July) and we were chatting before we broached upon the topic of sushi... She said she wanted to eat sushi and wanted me to make it for her. I didn't pay much attention to her request but I agreed though... It's not my style to refuse other people's requests, besides I'm a great fan of japanese food and I love to cook. Well one thing led to another and then I found myself with 5 other (cough) chefs in this effort to make it for Gen's birthday.
The events of yesterday was as follows:
--> spent (too much) time with Big Nic, Jason Kwa, JK and K'cube choosing the present for Gen's birthday (I didn't chip in... the sushi ingredients cost me twice the price of the present)
--> Finally managed to leave the shop and head home with weird ingredients (chocolate and strawberries)... Small Nic waiting at my doorstep already... And god I hate the rain.
-->Started cooking the 1st batch of rice, while waiting we fried some tamago (japanese sweet omelette). Small Nic proves to be of some use... Pro egg-frier? PS: never let Sherilyn pour the oil (heart attack anyone?)
--> Argh! The rice turned into something that might come out of Hagrid's a** during constipation. It formed some weird, hard piece of hard...thing (did I mention hard?). Never mind then, add water and cook it again, hopefully it was just because of a lack of water.
--> Rice looks much better than the previous time we took it out. On the outside. With Sherilyn's effort at mixing the rice although I told her not to, we now have a mixture of brown burnt rice, and usable white rice. Thankfully, we managed to salvage a bit. Some parts were left untouched...
--> Tried making sushi. F....Success! These cheese sushis were plain, but at least they were edible...
--> Not sure what happened next. But I know it involved Chuan Chun destroying my avocados and me becoming some emo brat.
-->Sherilyn, Small Nic, and K'cube left first. Chuan Chun and Big Nic stayed.
--> Tried again, the rice a bit better this time. Managed to make some california maki, some floss maki and some weird chocolate strawberry sushi (let's not go into little details... this should remain PG13)
--> Desperately called for help, but the other two slackers remained glued to the xbox. Terrible, the effect of video games on the minds of teenagers.
--> Wanted to make more but my last batch of rice turned into Hagrid's constipated excrements again. And also my grand finale.

Thank god it's over. the sushi is easy on the eyes and easy on the teeth as well, despite the rice being rather hard. And now I have something left over from the battle. A piece of rice so hard it can be turned into a murder weapon. Through a stroke of ingenuity I made it into this:

Nothing suspicious apart from the occasional glimpse of the mayo holding the strawberries and the milo powder.
Let's get to the main event. The 'birthday party' we held for Gen. When I took out the 'cake', tears started forming in her eyes. My heart broke at that time. I felt damn guilty. Still do. Maybe the joke was carried too far? She didn't show disappointment or anything, but who know how another person feels deep down?
The sushi, as expected, was too hard. Sushi was never built to be eaten the next day... The rice, I admit, also played a part.
OK birthday over, I had to leave first to prepare for my french class later on. Or so I said. Truth is, I wanted to leave the place. I may be a little harsh on myself, but I felt like I couldn't stand before Gen...
When I went home and showered, I had a little shock. This:
I found this on my chest, at my heart area. I knew I was feeling a bit guilty, but this is a bit overkill. Freaky...

Heheh I can't stop smiling today...... It's very touching to know people care about you...No matter how ridiculous their birthday gifts are. Like the Macdonald toy I received for instance. What am I supposed to do with it? Poke holes through it at hang it from the ceiling? haha joking.... I appreciate it you guys....and your sense of humour.
I think the thing that touched my heart was the cardboard guitar that Sherilyn and Gen made for me. They actually bothered to make it by hand... Including tying actual string to make the...well guitar strings. On top of that they treated me to lunch at eatzi's (some off shoot of jack's place). Don't give me that kind of look. I'm not taking advantage of their kindness. I offered to pay for mine (and theirs) but Gen gave me The Look (I must take a picture of it). Oh and they bought a cake:

Really touching....(but I wanted to blow the candle....So does that mean Gen will be the one to fulfill my wish?)

After the meal, Chuan Chun dashed off to god knows where.... I thought he went to buy me something and would come back... He didn't. However, at 6pm I received a call. The guy was standing outside my gate with his present! Although he stays nearby, his sincerity made my day. He gave me an alarm clock. Ironic huh... the guy whose alarm clock didn't ring giving me an alarm clock heheh. Anyways giving a clock is bad luck in chinese superstition. It means 'song zhong', sending a person to his end. So my father asked me to chase after him and give him a ten cents coin to 'buy' the gift. Actually this practice is also done in other cultures. Giving a knife (cutlery knife, cooking knife, etc...)as a present means to cut off relations. So the receiver would give a ten cents coin to the person. I would never have thought of that...... And BTW that clock is the coolest clock ever. EVER.

Big Nic was too shy to buy me an FHM magazine lol.... So he bought me an EGM ( electronic gaming magazine) instead XD
Well that concludes my post..... To all my friends out there....I LOVE YOU ALL.....you are the ppl who made today my birthday......
I brought extra cash but did not spend a cent.......

2.15:Hey everyone! Sorry for not posting these days........... I was emo-ing over going back to school for holidays lol. Well many weird things happened over these days.........( I won't say what happened cos i can't remember at the moment...But something did happen)
Guess where I'm posting from today. A lan shop. Alone. Now you must be thinking: What is he doing in a lan shop ALONE? Don't be a smartypants and say: NO I'M NOT THINKING THAT, cos you are definitely thinking that. If you weren't you would be an apathetic fool (not sure if thats the spelling) Anyways back to the topic. Oh yeah if you were the smartypants you can stop reading here. I am now at a lan shop cos I'm waiting for an appointment at CGH.... Something which I do not look forward to. Actually it's like the last thing I wish to do during these holidays apart from going to school. Do you know what they do behind those closed doors? They drip weird orange dye on your eye, not to mention SMARTING orange dye, and then expect you to look directly into a blinding torchlight. You know those with white light? Damn painful.

CRAP it's 2.20?!!?!? I'm gonna be late......who cares lol

5.25: I'm back from the be damned appointment... If you noticed the time, the appointment took about 3 hours. Are you surprised? Unless you are a naive kid who has never stepped away from your computer screen, you shouldn't be. Don't be a naive and say " huh but when I visit my doctor I only wait for 10mins... why for you it is 3 hours?" Well bozo don't ask me cos many things go unexplained in this world. As a matter of fact, you should be using this curiosity to ask the doctor why he had to put dye, then poke my eye with a plastic tool and ask me not to flinch! The world is not a bed of roses my dear friend! The world is a cruel and mean place where hospitals need you to wait for 3 hrs before allowing you to see a guy doctor instead of the beauty next door!
I hope this was entertaining for you, it sure was entertaining for me to quarrel with a nonexistent entity.

Vesak Day

So today is vesak day...... I didn't know that my family actually 'celebrates' it, not sure it is counted as celebration cos all we did was to go to the thai temple in bedok to pay respects to the Buddha..... I really did not feel like going as it goes against my principles of neutrality of religions, but on second thought, I think it would be interesting to visit a thai temple. Quite a good choice i think, learnt a bit there.....

There was this statue in a glass panel and candles lit around it. The four-faced Buddha:

The artwork is magnificent......

According to my pops, the four-faced Buddha is the most protective Buddha and will look after you, thus the four faces. Not sure about the legitimacy but still a good story....
By the way, today is really really hot! My Buddha(heheh), i used two packets of tissue just for sweat! I'm gonna stop my post here and take a good rest. Cya folks!

Well chinese 'O' levels are over (thank god) and the school holiday's have arrived. No point ranting about my report book (I believe that noone really cares), besides everyone (ok most) did quite badly this time round. I have an L1/R5 of 25 and I'm 42nd in the level.That's how bad we have done. Oh yeah, it was written that i was proficient in english, and I could express my thoughts in a lucid manner. Well the first thing mr. proficient in english did was to ask "what does lucid mean?" I doubt proficient in english would be in the next comment XD. Hey it might be the teacher's way of testing me haha....
Anyways, my father read 'Wesley is a responsible english rep' and a dialogue ensued:
-"eh? Are you the english rep?"
-"well duh, didn't you know?"
Guess what he said.
-"Huh? English rep only get B4 for his english? Shame or not?"
T_T super big hit on my ego man........ guess I will have to try harder now, if not I'll lose respect for myself..... My mum said something too. She said, "Does bubbly mean fat?" Ok I know I'm a bit on the plump side but it's not something I like to be reminded of.....

Damn, the fact that it's the holidays hasn't really gotten into my head yet... Going back to school during the holidays is a real bummer. Ok, I know it's the 'O' level year, but fact remains that it's rather depressing....

After school, I planned to take a taxi home so I invited Claire and Sherilyn to hitch a ride. I dropped them at tampines mart where they wanted to eat at Macdonald's. Stupidly, I followed them (hey i had nothing to do). I wasn't hungry so I had a coffee (despite my caffeine rushes). Another stupid decision. The coffee looked and tasted fine. It only smelled weird. But I just drank it (well, they treated me). Stupid decision number 3. Now I'm like an emo brat under my blanket trying to puke or to sleep. Can't do either so here I am ranting about my coffee woes...

Wah Stressed OUT

Its finally here. The first 'O' lvl examination is finally here........AND I'M ALL STRESSED OUT! I do not really care for this exam as it is already a lost cause but seriously. Please. do. not. FREAK ME OUT LIKE THAT. I'm already mentally exhausted from focusing on my chinese and french for the past week, and guess what. My father starts being emo yesterday at dinner. This is what he said word for word: I'm not feeling very good these few days, so if anything happens take care of yourselves and continue living. What The HELL! Is that what a father should say before my exam? God no.

Anyways I'm feeling rather nervous (even without my father's psycho-ing me) Argh..... But here's a nice picture to make my blog look nicer:

This is one of the most depressing days of my life, which happens rather often...... However, jokes aside. Yesterday outside simei MRT station a boy was crushed to death by a lorry. Literally crushed. As in head under tyre. Although in different levels, my bro goes to the same school as him which makes it even saddening. Imagine your child or sibling was the one behind that truck. Can you imagine the despair his mother and aunt must have felt? Not long ago, I also received the news that my uncle was diagnosed with cancer. Talk about a double bummer........ My deepest condolences to the boy's family and friends..........

How was my french test? I can't be too sure, but I think an A1 should be in the bag. Thanks for the encouragement you guys.......

My dreamland is in trouble

Wow I just slept for 5 hours straight..... Totally wiped out now can't sleep at all...... The mother tongue intensive is taking a toll on me. You know what freaks me out? My dreams are based on the mother tongue classes in the hall! Same scenario and all.... even the people sitting beside me are exactly the same. I have a big french test tomorrow so i decided to get some rest first.... but I think I would have done better staying awake.....

I just observed the picture for may 18th. Beautiful don't you think? One of the most scenic places i have ever been to. No mountain range in France was as beautiful as this one which i took in Korea. That kind of peace is 非笔墨所能形容的..... Nice phrase I learnt... It means unable to be expressed in words......Here's another one:

I went out in the morning for dim sum at tampines mall. There was a long queue waiting for the restaurant to open when we got there.... thankfully we had seats, unlike the asses who came an hour later, thinking there wouldn't be anybody ( no offense if you were one of them =P). Ate some really weird things.... there was fried glutinous rice, and a weird carrot cake-like dish. It looked like carrot cake, except the fact that it was sweet and was made with water chestnuts. Too sweet in my opinion. Couple of dishes left that we couldn't finish in the end, so they became takeaways for my afternoon tea :D.... (these water chestnut cakes taste great with chinese tea). Sorry I didn't take any pictures...... I wanted to but when the food came, all I cared about was eating..........

I'm going out later to raffles town club for another scrumptious meal..... No wonder I put on weight.......

I really was surprised today..... Nicely surprised when I found out that I had 20 cca points (A2) and could minus 2 points from my L1R5. I seriously thought I would would fail when it came to cca points because I only started guitar last year.....Never thought i could get 15 points in 1 1/2 year . However I am rather upset about my mid year results.... I kinda knew i would fail in humanities, but the feeling is really just crap. A maths too..... I was top of the class for biology though (although it was only a B4). Just came back from french as well..... I scored full marks for my mock listening comprehension.... whats new.....

Lets stop listening to rambles of the hills and valleys of my life...... Whats over is over. Now I'm at a pit stop just before one of the most important hikes of my life: the 'o' levels.....Whether it is upslope or downslope we shall see.........

Well I've started to blog.......Might continue, might stop. Why did I start? No idea, just on a whim i guess.....
Well today was nothing special. Actually I was just as random as I am always. When i stepped out of the car this morning, guess whats the first thing i saw. A sign showing that i could win a new hp or mp3 player by eating KFC wow value meals.... I'm really into lucky draws and stuff, so I've decided: Eat KFC at every chance i can get and win a prize. Any one would do but I would really love a new handphone.......

Now, how in the world do i change my blogskin....... Maybe I should have waited for Big Nic to help me.....
